The river dropped back overnight (to 8 inches) and the ladder count jumped from 17 to 79. There's still plenty of fish left in the beat, though, and Massimo Castelvecchi did well to intercept one on Pitlochry bank this afternoon - a lively fish of 12lbs caught on the fly. Prospects look good for tomorrow.
