The river dropped back overnight but at 13 inches was still at an excellent fishing height this morning . It didn’t take Gordon Hanslip to take advantage of the favourable conditions when he landed a superb fish of 14 lbs on the fly on Pitlochry bank early this morning. With good cloud cover forecast it could get even better for the weekend – prospects look good!
