We had a bit of rain over the weekend but not enough to give the river a decent lift. There's still fish about, though, and Jimmy Ross managed to intercept one on Pitlochry bank this afternoon - a superb fish of 10lbs caught on the fly. Perseverance could be the key right now but there's no doubt the fish are there to be caught.
