Conditions looked good first thing, the river having cleared overnight and dropped to an ideal height, and it didn't take long for Roger Collins to land a superb fish of 10lbs on the fly from Port-na-Craig bank this morning. While that was to be the only fish of the day it was great to see the river with a bit of water again - prospects for next week look excellent.
