The river has been up and down recently - not ideal for fishing - but today had settled back to a promising height. Steve Watt was in the right place to take advantage of the situation landing a superb fish of 21lbs on the fly from Port-na-Craig bank this morning. The fish put up a quite a fight before coming safely to the net. The river should settle back further and prospects for the weekend look good.
