The river was up and slightly coloured today and with a fish lost just before midday it looked as if it was going to be one of those days. In the evening, though, Steve Watt managed to hang on to a lively fish of 8lbs on the fly on Port-na-Craig bank. The river has cleared nicely and prospects look good for the rest of the week.
