Sunshine and showers today and a rising river - not ideal fishing conditions and for long periods of the day the river had a quiet feel to it. Steve Watt managed to break the deadlock, though, with a lively fish of 9lbs on the spinner on Port-na-Craig bank this afternoon. Hopefully the river will settle and the fishing will pick up for the rest of the week.
