Cold again first thing this morning but it soon warmed up
and it wasn’t long until conditions were close to ideal – light winds, broken
sunshine and plenty of fish showing throughout the beat. Dave Stewart was able
to take advantage landing a very nice fish of 20lbs on the fly from Pitlochry
bank this morning. Downstream at Sawmill Les Dargie had a fish of 14lbs on the fly this afternoon. The river remains at a good height – room for optimism.
