The river is at a good height at the moment and this is encouraging fresh fish into our beats. Andy Khakoo was in the right place to take advantage yesterday morning - following up on his recent success with a fresh fish of 10lbs on the fly in the Sawmill and Ian Hislop braved some heavy rain last night to successfully land a 6lb fish on the fly on Pitlochry bank - good effort. The fish are there for those willing to have a cast!
