Good numbers of fish are moving through PAC beats at the moment and although lightly fished over the last week those willing to have a cast are reaping the rewards:
Tuesday: Robert Crowther followed on from his recent success with another fish - in Sawmill this time - a fresh 10lber on the fly,
Thursday: Ally Gowans had a quick run through Sawmill in the morning and landed a 7lb sea-liced fish on the fly.
Friday: further upstream on Ruan Ruarie Dave Wilson managed a few hours and caught an 8lb fish on the spinner while downstream on our Sawmill beat Gordon Hanslip landed our first sea trout of the season - a 2lb fish from BP burn.
With the river at a good height there could be more to come this week.
