Monday: The Sawmill is fishing well at the moment and Graeme Stewart was able to take advantage with a 5lb grilse on the fly this morning in Sawmill.
Tuesday: Catching your first salmon isn't easy: you've worked on your casting; got to know the beat; and even hooked and lost a fish. Today the final piece of the jigsaw fell into place for Andy Khakoo who landed his first ever salmon in Sawmill this morning- an 8lber on the fly - congratulations! - and hopefully the first of many. Not one to let the "young guns" get it all their own way Jimmy Ross landed a 14lb sea-liced fish not long after - again in Sawmill. Still lots of fish about.
