With the river settled over the weekend and sitting at an ideal height this
morning prospects look good for the anglers out today. As it turned out it was an outstanding day with seven
fish caught: in the morning Dave Stewart had a fish of 10lbs and Ally Gowans one
of 8 lbs on Port-na-Craig bank; Graeme Stewart had a fish of 13lbs and Steve Watt
had one of 12lbs in the morning from Pitlochry bank; in the afternoon Ally
Gowans landed a second fish of 8lbs on Pitlochry bank; and in the evening Les Dargie
had a fish of 8 lbs on Port-na-Craig bank and Jim Fisher landed a 9lber on
Pitlochry bank. Great to see the beat fishing so well and with settled conditions forecast
for the rest of the week there should be more to come.
