The river dropped back a couple of inches today and after a cold start the day soon settled into bright sunshine. The fishing held up, though, with Jim Fisher landing a superb fish of 18lbs in the afternoon on Port-na-Craig bank – nicely done. The river remains at a good height and the beat should continue to fish well.
