Pitlochry Angling Club (PAC) Open Night 2023 was held on
Wednesday 15th March 2023 in Scotlands Hotel, Pitlochry, where we
raised £1275 each for the Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) and
Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA), through a fishing tackle auction and raffle.
PAC would like to thank local businesses, estates and
individuals for their generosity in donating vouchers, fishing and second hand
tackle to the auction and raffle. This led to an impressive 130 items in the
auction alone. We would also like to thank Scotland’s hotel for donating the
venue for our open night and to our speaker Graham Forbes for his excellent fly
tying demonstration and for donating his fee to the two charities.
Finally the success of the evening would not have been possible without the 40 members and public who turned out and bid very generously.
