Conditions looked good this week but we had to wait until the afternoon of the last day to land a fish: Massimo Castelvecchi was the successful angler with a superb fish of 18lbs caught on the fly on Port-na-Craig bank. Massimo has worked hard over the last few weeks for this fish and his perseverance has paid off - well done - and hopefully the first of many this season. The water should drop further over the weekend - looking good for next week.
