With heavy rain and the river rising by over three feet conditions weren't ideal for fishing today. Despite this three fish were caught: Jim Lapsley struck early before water levels started to rise and had two fish on the spinner on Pitlochry bank this morning - an 8lber and a fresh fish of 16lbs; and over on Port-na-Craig bank Adam Thomson landed a fish of 10lbs on the fly later in the morning. A great start to the week - and will be interesting to see how things go when the river settles back.
