Bright and sunny and a river at close to summer levels – not ideal fishing conditions yesterday at the Dam but with three fish caught it turned into not a bad day: Iain McLaren did well with two fish on the fly, one at 9lbs and the other at 10lbs, from Pitlochry bank this morning; and Steve Watt’s perseverance was rewarded in the afternoon with a fresh fish of 8lbs on the spinner from Port-na-Craig bank –nicely done. Still plenty of fish about and no reason why there shouldn’t be more to come this week.
