Cold again today but the river remains steady at a good height and it
was another excellent day at the Dam: Ally Gowans got the first fish of the day
– an 8lber on the fly from Port-na-Craig bank this morning; just before
changeover James Broomhall landed a fish to remember – a 20lber on Port-na-Craig bank - and then another at 10lbs on Pitlochry bank in the afternoon - both on spinner; and in the evening Alec Cruikshank rounded things
off nicely with a 15lber on the fly from Pitlochry bank. The Dam is fishing
well at the moment and there’s every reason to think there will be more to come
this week.
