The river was at a good height at the Dam this morning and the odd fish was showing. None could be tempted, though, despite the best efforts of some determined anglers. Further down at Sawmill, though, it was different: Paul Carter continued his good start to the season with a fish of 8lb on the fly – nicely done. Looking good for next week.
