Another season got underway on
the Tummel today and as always hopes were high. Conditions were favourable this morning with
the winds having eased overnight and the river sitting at a good height. We had
a reasonably good turnout with a few hardy members wetting a line and others
dropping by for a chat. Unfortunately the opening day success of 2019 wasn’t
repeated but with a mild winter to date there should be a few fish in the beat
and hopefully it won’t be too long before the first one comes to the net. Tight
lines to all our fishermen for 2020!
