We've had a quiet - and frustrating - period on the river recently with a number of fish hooked but none landed. Today, however, Pat Phelan persevered and was rewarded with a fresh fish of 9lbs late in the afternoon on the spinner from Port-na-Craig bank. Good numbers of fish are showing in the beat at the moment and hopefully there will be a few more this week.
