The river dropped back and cleared overnight and was looking
in good shape this morning. On our Dam beat Colin Fairgrieve was in the right
place to land an excellent fish of 19 lbs on the spinner from Port-na-Craig
bank early on this morning and further downstream at Sawmill Steve Watt also got
into the action with a fish of 16lbs on the spinner in the afternoon. There
seems to be plenty of quality fish about at the moment and with settled
conditions set to continue it’s looking promising for next week.
