With conditions looking good yesterday Steve Watt ventured
out for a cast and was rewarded with two superb fish on the fly: the first at 21lbs was
caught on Pitlochry bank in the morning and a second at 12lbs was landed on
Port-na-Craig bank in the afternoon. As the first fish
caught on the fly by a club member Steve also wins the Mitchell Trophy – well
done. Fishing conditions continue to look ideal and hopefully this will
encourage more to head out for a cast.
