Soldiers Leap - No Fishing

The Soldiers Leap pool at Ruan Ruarie is an important resting place for salmon as they ascend the River Garry towards their spawning grounds. In order to protect these fish, prevent disturbance to them and keep anglers out of danger at the leap fishing in the vicinity of the leap is not allowed. Anyone found fishing at Soldiers Leap will therefore be fishing illegally and prosecutions will be pursued.
