With the river at a great height at the moment and good numbers of fish showing prospects looked good today. Derek McLay was first to take advantage with a nice fish of 18lbs caught on Pitlochry bank this morning on the fly and in the evening Gordon Nichol landed a sea-liced fish of 7lbs - again from Pitlochry bank on the fly - while down at Sawmill Andrew Khakoo landed a fish of 16lbs early this afternoon - again on the fly. A few more rods out would surely see more.
