Salmon count at Pitlochry reaches 4000

The salmon count at the Pitlochry Fish Ladder reached over 4000 this evening. This is a good count for this time of year and compares with 1892 in 2015, 2322 in 2014, about 2900 in 2013, 2160 in 2012, and about 3100 in 2011 on the same date.
