It's been hard going at the Dam over the last couple of weeks - low water and the fish moving fast. But with a bit of rain this week and the river at a good height there was room for optimism today. Saul Mackay took advantage with two fish landed at 9 and 10lbs and another two lost - all on the fly on Pitlochry bank this afternoon. In the evening Iain McLaren followed up with a fresh fish of 10lbs on the fly and lost another at the net - again on Pitlochry bank. The first fish of the season were caught at Ruan Ruarie - Steve Watt doing well landing two fish on the fly - one at 7lbs and the other at 14lbs. Looking good for tomorrow.
