The river was dropping back nicely this morning and running clear after the heavy rain on Sunday - i.e. conditions were looking close to ideal - and sure enough it was an outstanding day at the Dam: Iain McLaren had a red letter day with four fish - three from Port-na-Craig bank in the morning at 10, 10 and 12lbs and one in the afternoon from Pitlochry bank at 8lbs - all on the fly; Ally Gowans had two fish at 9lbs on the fly - one from each bank; Callum Imray landed a fish of 8lbs on a Vision 110 on Pitlochry bank this morning; Steve Watt had a fish of 18lbs this evening on Port-na-Craig bank on the fly; and Martin Wilson rounded things off nicely this evening with two fish at 7 and 8lbs from Port-na-Craig bank on the fly. Brian Joseph also got in on the act with a late fish from Sawmill this evening - a superb fish of 19lbs on a Vision 110. Looking good for the rest of the week.
