Good End To The Week

With the river height close to ideal at the moment and plenty of fish showing it was good to see a few day rods out on our Dam beat today. As expected the fishing was excellent with five fish caught: Gary Waugh was first into action on Pitlochry bank this morning with a fish of 6lbs on the fly and followed this up in the afternoon with a 10lber from Port-na-Craig bank - again on the fly; Steven Lee had a fish of 5lbs on the spinner from Port-na-Craig bank this morning; and Ian McNicol landed two in the afternoon on Pitlochry bank - one at 6lbs on the spinner and the other 3lbs on the fly. The river looks set to remain at a good level and prospects for next week are excellent.
