It was good to see some rods on the Dam today and with six fish caught and at least another four lost the fishing was exceptional: Gary Waugh got things going with a sea liced fish of 5lbs on the fly from Pitlochry bank in the morning and followed up with a fish of the same size on the spinner from Port-na-Craig bank in the afternoon; James Holder landed a 6lber on Port-na-Craig bank this morning and then had another of 3lber on Pitlochry bank in the afternoon - both on the fly; and Michael Kelly - who tells me he hasn't had a fish for a number of years - was delighted to land fish of 8lbs and 6lbs on Port-na-Craig bank this morning - both on the spinner. Well done to all. Prospects look excellent for next week.
