The river went up overnight but was still at a good height this morning and with plenty of fish showing throughout the beat prospects looked good. With a fish lost early on it looked like it could be one of those frustrating days. Steve Watt persevered, though, and was rewarded with a 7lb fish from Port-na-Craig bank taken on the spinner late in the afternoon - good effort.
