Conditions looked to be near ideal this morning with the river at a good height and plenty of fish showing. Things were slow, however, - very slow - and it wasn't until mid afternoon that the deadlock was eventually broken - Steve Watt continuing his good run with a fish of 13lbs quickly followed by another at 8lbs. Both were caught on Port-na-Craig bank on a Cascade. See below a photo of the second fish being safely returned.
