Conditions looked good this morning with a 6" overnight rise in water levels putting a bit of life back into the river. Alex Mitchell was first to capitalise with a fish of 8lbs quickly followed by Ally Gowans with one of 11lbs - both caught in the morning on Pitlochry bank and on the fly. Things went quiet on the afternoon but hopefully the rise in water will encourage a few fresh fish to run into the beat for the weekend.
