The river dropped back over the weekend and now sits at about 3" - still not a bad height - and with a few fresh fish showing conditions remain reasonably good. Kenneth McGregor was first into action this morning and it didn't take him long to land a good fish of about 12lbs on Port-na-Craig bank. In the evening Gordon Nichol landed a hard fighting 8lber on Pitlochry bank. Further downstream on Sawmill Graeme Stewart kept his good run going with a nice fish at 10lbs. All three fish were caught on the fly. Not a bad start to the week.
