It was cold and wet on the Tummel this morning but the fish didn't seem to mind - showing in good numbers throughout the beat for the first time this year. First to take advantage was Jonathan Tyson with a 13lber on the Flying C from Port-na-Craig bank - caught early morning on his 4th cast! Next up it was Steve Watt who hit a rich vein of form with three fish from Pitlochry bank at 13, 12 and 9lbs in the morning and followed up with another at 10lbs from Port-na-Craig in the afternoon - all on the fly. Good effort! Great to see things up and running and both banks fishing well.
