Early this morning Innes Smith started our day with a fish of 18lb in Sawmill on a Monkey pattern. While at the Dam beat Steve Watt had two fish early on. The first fish at 11lb and the second a magnificent 21lb both caught on a Willie Gunn from Portnacraig. The weather conditions got steadily worse and Steve changed tactics and on went the spinning gear with that old friend on the end (Pictured). The change produced another two fish before lunch both 12lb. In the afternoon Iain Mc Laren gave a good demonstration of casting in the gale force wind and was duly rewarded with a lovely 10lb fish on a Monkey dressing. JK
