PAC Open night a great success

Andy Walker entertains the audience with bonefish stories.
Our open night on March 13 was wonderfully successful. The object is to have a bit of fun present our competition prizes, provide some fishing related entertainment - on this occasion an illustrated talk about bonefishing by Ally Gowans and Andy Walker and most importantly to raise some money for charities. Breaking all records for recycling fishing tackle and other donations and with a brilliant raffle run by President Jimmy Ross the preliminary total raised is about £2000 which will be shared between CHAS and Scalliwags. Thanks everyone who attended and supported the event and especially all those who kindly donated raffle prizes and auction lots, Scotland's Hotel and Spa for accommodating and assisting the Club throughout the year and once again to Jimmy Ross for running the auction and to PAC members who willingly helped.

Two men with a gallon bottle of Dewars White Label Whisky, one smiling and one not smiling. Can you guess who is on the receiving end? Hugh Farran owes his good luck to his daughter Debbie who bought the winning raffle ticket at Scalliwags and despite appearances Jimmy Ross was delighted to hand over the prize!
