Late afternoon yesterday after almost two days fishing Brothers Barry and Terry Newport opened our account for the week with two liced fish of 12lb and 9lb respectively. Both caught on Flying C. Our total so far stands at a meagre 11 fish at the Dam compared to 30 this time last year. The exceptional low water and extreme cold conditions are surely the cause. Low Tay beats are enjoying a great start to their season in these conditions and we cannot grudge them that. I anticipate with a rise in temperature we will have good catches in the next couple of months. JK
