| Swedish anglers out in the rain on the Tummel at the weekend |
We are pleased to welcome overseas anglers to our waters provided they comply fully with our biosecurity guidance. A small party of Swedish trout anglers were out on the Tummel at the weekend. We are delighted that, although the river was a little up, they had a good time, and caught some trout. All the equipment they used, including waders, was arranged in advance by their party organiser as a hire from Crockarts of Blairgowrie*, which is good as this greatly reduces any biosecurity concerns.
*There is no tackle shop in Pitlochry at present and Crockarts is the nearest to Pitlochry which provides a full tackle hire service, including waders. Dunkeld Post Office and Field Sports - one of our ticket resellers - also has fishing tackle for hire, but not waders.
