Last week ground to a standstill with the river on its bare bones. Despite the low water good numbers of fish continued to run the ladder. Our only catch return in the latter part of the week was a 13lb fish for Lee Thompson on a ( Black Flying C ) at Portnacraig. Gordon Nichol can still find a fish with another success on Sawmill on Saturday morning ( 8lb sealicer ). JK
