Yesterday the Tummel rose 2ft for the first time in weeks which probably put paid to any success during the day due to the heavy colour in the river. Last night the river began to drop and clear and Les Dargie got one about 10lb. Today our only success was on Pitlochry bank when visitor Gary Westhead had a fresh fish about 9lb on a cascade. Pictured here is Patrick Hammond with his catch last week. The river continues to drop, lets hope a few more are caught this week as the fish start to go through the ladder in bigger numbers. JK
