After a week in the doldrums despite many fish still showing at Pitlochry dam beats, things took a turn for the better today. After a quiet morning Craig Masson had a great start on Pitlochry bank early in the afternoon. Craigs first take turned out to be a lovely fresh fish around 14lb on a flamethrower dressing. Craig must have used up his quota of luck as he proceeded to lose another two fish in quick succession, but still a good days fishing. Lets hope this is the start of a few more fish in the beat.
