The river rose last night and by this morning had dropped to just over 1ft, showing heavy peat stain. But conditions did not stop Ally Gowans catching two fish about 14lb and 12lb on guess what ! I just wonder if any more fish would have been caught yesterday when conditions were better if the cascade had been in use. We will never know. Just been reported an 8lb fish on an ( Ally Shrimp) for Ross Gardener , our first fish from Ruan Ruarie beat on the Garry . The fish was caught in the grilse pool. JK

CASCADE RETURNS
The river rose last night and by this morning had dropped to just over 1ft, showing heavy peat stain. But conditions did not stop Ally Gowans catching two fish about 14lb and 12lb on guess what ! I just wonder if any more fish would have been caught yesterday when conditions were better if the cascade had been in use. We will never know.
