Busy Sundays coming up on the Tummel!

The Pitlochry Angling Club stretch of the River Tummel has again been chosen as the venue for the preliminary stages of this year's Scottish National Rivers Fly Fishing Championship. The heats will be held on 24 April, 8, 15 and 22 May and will be contested by 51 anglers from all over Scotland. Top anglers on each of the days will qualify for the final to be held on the River Tay on 31 July. The top five anglers in the final will be invited to represent Scotland in the Home International Rivers Championship in 2012. We wish all competitors every success and hope for some good hatches of fly! (DCS)
