The river was
at a good height again this morning and with light winds and the temperature up
a few degrees on recent mornings fishing conditions were pretty good. It wasn’t too long before the first fish came
to the net – and it was to be the first of three for the day - and a great end to
the week: Adam Brougham was first into action with a 13lber on the fly on
Port-na-Craig bank first thing this morning; Ben Thompson had an 8lber not long
after – again on the fly from Port-na-Craig bank; and Neil Tong followed with a
10lber on the fly on Pitlochry bank later in the morning. Neil’s fish was our
100th of the season on our Dam beat – the fishing has been excellent this year.
