Dam And Sawmill Success

The river was at a good height this morning and hopes were high that the fishing would carry on where it left off yesterday. It was a slow start, though, and there were some hefty showers to contend with but the anglers persevered with PAC beats ending the day with four fish caught: Jim Fisher broke the deadlock with a nice fish of 15lbs on the fly on Port-na-Craig bank this morning; Steve Watt had two on the spinner on Port-na-Craig bank in afternoon – one at 11lbs and another at 13lbs; and downstream on Sawmill Innes Smith caught a 15lber on the fly. All looking good as we head towards the weekend.
