Conditions weren’t the best for fishing today with bright
sunshine and an awkward breeze for most of the day but still plenty of fish
about: Dave Stewart managed to follow on from his success of yesterday with a
fish of 8lbs on the fly from Pitlochry bank this morning; likewise Jim Fisher
continued from where he left off yesterday with a nice fish of 11lbs on the fly
from Pitlochry bank this morning; and Martin Timmins did well on Sawmill this
morning with a fish of 11lbs and a sea trout of 2lbs – both on the fly. Not a
bad way to round off the first week back to fishing.
