After a couple of weeks of high water it was good to see the
river drop back to a promising height this week and it is perhaps no surprise
that the first fish of the season was landed today. Steve Watt was the
successful angler catching a very lively fish of 15lbs – cartwheeling out of
the water three times before coming safely to the net – well done Steve! Prospects look excellent as we head into the
weekend – there could be more to come this week.
