With
the river at a good height and good numbers of fish showing prospects looked
excellent at the Dam this morning. Nigel Oldroyd was able to take advantage -
landing a superb fish of 12lbs on the spinner from Port-na-Craig bank this
morning. This was Nigel’s first salmon and it’s fair to say he was delighted at
his success when I met him this morning – well done! With the river set to fall
back conditions should be excellent for tomorrow – maybe more to come this
week.
