The river dropped back further over the weekend and with a
cold upstream wind it was a challenging day for our anglers. With three fish
caught, though, it was an excellent start to the week: Steve Watt got things
going with a fish of 9lbs on the fly from Pitlochry bank this morning; Alistair
Hamilton then had an 8lber – again on the fly on Pitlochry bank in the morning;
and Gordon Hanslip rounded things off nicely with a fish of 8lbs on the spinner
from Port-na-Craig bank in the morning. There seems to be good numbers of fish
about at the moment and the low water doesn’t seem to be putting them off.
